SA: SA moving towards achieving goals, survey finds

A new survey shows most South Australians believe the state will achieve its social
and economic goals, a survey has found.

The survey, conducted for SA Business Vision 2010, found 56 per cent of respondents
were confident in the state's future.

Of the 300 people interviewed last month for the survey, 48 per cent agreed that the
state was progressing towards positive social and economic goals.

Eight per cent strongly agreed and 36 per cent disagreed, while the remainder did not
express an opinion.

SA Business Vision 2010 chief executive IAN HARRISON describes the survey results as heartening.

He says respondents aged between 18 and 29 hold the strongest confidence in the state's
future, with two-thirds of survey respondents agreeing with the survey proposition.
