Qld: Dirty picnic table contains handwritten confession: court

BUNDABERG, Qld, Jan 13 AAP - A dirty timber picnic table scribbled with a handwritten
confession has become the surprise new evidence in the murder case of British backpacker
Caroline Stuttle.

The unusual piece of evidence only came to light after an anonymous phone call to police
at the end of the first days of the committal hearing in Bundaberg, in south-east Queensland,
last September.
