Qld: Coalition set for fight

BRISBANE, Feb 20 AAP - A row could be brewing between Queensland's decimated coalition
parties over whether they should go their separate ways.

Following Saturday's massive Labor victory in the state election, a meeting of the
National and Liberal parties yesterday ended with the only Liberal so far assured of a
seat, Bob Quinn, saying the Coalition was "safe".

But Nationals leadership contender Lawrence Springborg wants to tear up the coalition
agreement, saying he wanted to rebuild the party.
